What about us in essential industries that have been working this whole time and are always around a bunch of people?

I want to fight these teachers. Just show up to their protest and touch knuckles

Just an fyi...Gwinnett teachers have been working in the schools all week. My wife has been leaving here at 8:15, and getting home at 5. Curious how they are in the schools, but also protesting?

IDK but your news media says they are teachers and one is identified by name - shouldn’t be hard to verify. Are kids in? Ours aren’t and my wife has the liberty from her boss to run an errand if need be? Also if kids aren’t in yet, they’re leaving to eat right?

I want a discount on my property tax for as long as school has been out. Either fire the teachers or get their arse back to work.

No, they start phasing them in next week. I don't think the teachers are leaving. Wife takes lunch everyday like she used to.

I can't wait until the next education SPLOST rolls around. Going to be some sad faces at the local BOE.

How come all the rest of us aren’t returning in a body bag? Is it just teachers that get infected?

Odd, I don't recall grocery store employees doing this the entire time this has been going on.

The ATL school system is rough and with the police standing down, I don’t doubt that some will give all.

We can find more losers with associates degrees to replace them.

It’s not ATL city schools, it’s a suburban county system.

Unfortunately, I agree. Everton Blair wields an inordinate amount of influence on the board, and is firmly in the indefinite digital learning camp.

Nice move KLB. Just another liberal mayor performing tryouts for vp. Hope they all get replaced someday soon.

Teachers and nurses are the most insufferable people.

I had a teacher argue with a straight face to me that grocery workers are at less risk than teachers in school. I was like, wTF?

Teachers will be around roughly the same group of people every day. Cashiers interact with literally ALL of society. Cashiers then literally touch every fricking item that was touched by every person who comes thru their aisle.

Teachers meanwhile, are working with a group of people who worldwide, haven't shown any propensity to spread the damned virus.

All teachers are doing right now is proving to me that as a group, they're kinda fricking dumb.

Nurses pat themselves on the back way too much but at least they're at fricking work...........and in roughly 100x more risky circumstances than any teacher would be in.

This whole teacher thing is just pathetic.
