You prove my point with every post. You can't help yourself from including an attack on your President, no matter how irrelevant to the matter of Bergdahl's guilt or innocence. It's clear why you automatically condemned the man. We should all hope there will be more rational and objective judges on any court martial.

Gee, I think I might have just answered my own question. What stopped Bush from spying on Democratic Senators and Congressmen?
Could it be that those Democrats are scared of Bush's revenge, having witnessed his treatment of Valerie Plame, Joseph Wilson, and various underlings? Could it be that they don't want their secrets exposed?
This is exactly why spying on Americans without warrants is an end to our form of government. It's more than just an enormous political advantage... it's a HAMMER.
Bush has been a criminal, miserable failure. The Democrats, who owe allegiance to our Constitution, are miserable failures in their own right. Whether or not they're criminals, too, is Bush's knowledge and your guess.

What an excellent post I made. Thanks for reviving and sharing it. Notice that "well-documented" part? That's the important difference. There is nothing well-documented, yet at least, condemning Bergdahl as a traitor. The anecdotes of his fellow beleaugured comrades, while to be considered, don't constitute adequate documentation or proof.

That's funny, because when they appeared on The Kelly Files, they sure seemed well rested to me. I'm pretty sure that they are no longer serving -- of, course, unlike your hero Bergdahl, they ended their military service with pride and distinction. Of course, the ones that were killed looking for the traitor paid the ultimate sacrifice for Bergdahl's traitorous actions.
And, I'm pretty sure that they would take offense to your statement that they are "comrades" of Bergdahl.

There is an AR 15-6 investigation being conducted right now to determine if he deserted. I believe it will determine he did. However, I do not believe he will be court-martialed for his actions. He will be separated with (I believe) an uncharacterized discharge and it will be over with.
