The pilot who carried out the sarin gas attack which killed 87 Syrian civilians is an Assad General who carried out a similar attack last month, it is reported.

General Mohammed Hasouri, a squadron commander in Assad's army, was pictured being congratulated for the raid in Khan Sheikhoun last Tuesday on Twitter.

Fares Shehabi, the MP for Aleppo and a high-ranking member of the Assad regime, posted an image on social media of Hasouri shaking hands with General Ali Abdullah Ayoub, the chief of general staff of the Syrian Arab Army.

The Times also claims that General Hasouri was behind another gas attack in the village of Latamineh, 15 miles from Khan Sheikhoun, on March 30.

They must be hurting for pilots if they have generals flying combat missions.

I just don't understand why gassing is worse than bombing the shite out of them. Hasn't that been going on forever?

If it wasn't for Russian technical support, I doubt they would have a plane that was airworthy and few if any qualified pilots.

No one cared until videos of people gasping for air to save their life came out.

Typically not a line that is crossed.

One of his flunkies pointed out to Hitler that the two million Allied soldiers massing to invade Europe in 1944 made a perfect gas target. Hitler, who had been gassed himself, declined to initiate a gas attack. He knew the Allies could dish it out a lot better than Germany could.

Because a bomb tends to kill people very quickly. Sarin gas basically tortures you to death.

Both can have survivors, but gas in a nonlethal dose can still fry the lungs and make it very difficult to breathe for the rest of your life.

Protocol for the Prohibition of the Use of Asphyxiating, Poisonous or Other Gases, and of Bacteriological Methods of Warfare. Geneva, 17 June 1925
State parties (140) - State signatories (0)

The Geneva Protocol of 1925 was drawn up and signed at the conference for the supervision of the international trade in arms and ammunition, which was held in Geneva under the auspices of the League of Nations from 4 May to 17 June 1925. The conference adopted a convention for the supervision of the international trade in arms, munitions and implements of war which has not entered into force and, as a separate document, a protocol on the use of gases. The earlier treaties prohibiting the use of gases to which the protocol refers are in particular the Hague Declaration concerning asphyxiating gases of 29 July 1899 and the Treaty of Versailles of 28 June 1919 as well as the other peace treaties of 1919. Article 171 of the Treaty of Versailles provides: "The use of asphyxiating, poisonous or other gases and all analogous liquids, materials or devices being prohibited, their manufacture and importation are strictly forbidden in Germany." See also Article 5 of the Treaty of Washington of 6 February 1922 and the note introducing the Hague Declaration (IV,2) of 1899.

The United Nations General Assembly has adopted several resolutions in which it calls for strict observance by all states of the principles and objectives of the Geneva Protocol of 1925, condemns all actions contrary to those objectives and invites all states to accede to the Protocol (resolutions 2162 B (XXI) of 5 December 1966, 2454 A (XXIII) of 20 December 1968, 2603 B (XXIV) of 16 December 1969, and 2662 (XXV) of 7 December 1970). Resolution 2603 A (XXIV) of 16 December 1969 gives an interpretation of the Geneva Protocol of 1925."

Thank You

This is why I didn't even click the link. This entire Assad dropping chemical weapons on citizens looks like black ops. Then a General is the one flying the plane, please...

Looked like the war in Syria was winding down. Certain parties definitely want to poke a sharp stick into anything that may lead to peace.

False flag. No way would you handle someone exposed to Sarin without gloves and protective equipment.
