A couple of months ago the crawfish processors here in se Louisiana were on the radio whining that they could not get anyone to peel crawfish tails for them.

Someone said they were paying $1 per pound for peeled tails.

Had not heard anything on how this turned out, does anyone know ?

Tyson brought initially brought in a bunch of Somalians to do the low paying grunt butchering work and then added a bunch of Afghans to help fill in. Three years later Tyson decided to close the plant leaving all those immigrants behind. SMDH

Let AI do the math on that and you’ll see why no one wants to peel thousands of crawfish a day for peasant wages.
