LINK

'Requiring that a list of registered voters be provided to an international election observer on receipt of certain documentation; requiring an election judge to protect an international election observer's rights; requiring an election judge to allow an international election observer to have access to the voting room; authorizing a local board to determine where an international election observer may be present and assign an international election observer to a particular polling place, as appropriate; etc.'

Just when I thought MD couldn't get any more demented, they go and do this. It smacks of UN bullsh** and intrusion into US sovereignty. Can only hope it gets smacked down, although in a state overrun with regressives, that hope is faint.

Now we want foreigners meddling in our elections?

I'm so confused.

May not be as bad as you think. Most international observers may come to the conclusion that we have no election safeguards and that our elections are not nearly as safeguarded against fraud as most other countries.

I would love to see the end of absentee ballots except for military and the addition of the purple finger. And of course ID like every other country on earth requires.

I can remember when Maryland could still be considered a moderate "Southern" state. Those days are long gone. That state has shifted hard left.

Seems pointless, but it doesn’t seem like a big deal either way. And at least we can show then what an election looks like in a country founded on freedom and liberty since they’re often observing elections in countries that actually rigs the process.

Due to the expanding federal government.

Oh yes! It's the CA of the east coast. Republican governor Hogan is up for re-election this year. Although in many ways he's a RINO he has done some good things about opening up the state for business by cutting down on regulations. He has a high approval rate even among dems, so there's hope he'll get re-elected.

We don't have to show anyone anything. Establishing a precedent is might dangerous. No UN meddling in our elections! Under any excuses!

You sound like a regressive with your faux-outrage. I mean it's one thing to be against it, but I don't see how one could be that upset about it.

No. We don't have to but we don't have to not show either.

Well why don't you present the dangers and support the claims then.

How exactly would they meddle?

Remember when our President preemptively declared the 2016 election as rigged until he won it and then never mentioned it again?

U.N. should be kicked to the curb and given no more funding from the U.S.

Then you can't think beyond the tip of your nose.

All it takes is one action, one precedent set, and the dominoes will start falling in due time. Just fyi, actions have consequences. Think about it!

You obviously know nothing and have read nothing about globalization and the push to have the UN re-define individual states' sovereignty to permit its intervention in their national affairs. Go read and educate yourself!
