Wow - McCabe also tells CBS that Rosenstein's offer to wear a wire with the president was raised more than once and that McCabe took it to the lawyers at the FBI to discuss.

quote:

On Wednesday, May 10, 2017, my first full day on the job as acting director of the FBI, I sat down with senior staff involved in the Russia case—the investigation into alleged ties between the Trump campaign and the Russian government. As the meeting began, my secretary relayed a message that the White House was calling. The president himself was on the line. I had spoken with him the night before, in the Oval Office, when he told me he had fired James Comey.

A call like this was highly unusual. Presidents do not, typically, call FBI directors. There should be no direct contact between the president and the director, except for national-security purposes. The reason is simple. Investigations and prosecutions need to be pursued without a hint of suspicion that someone who wields power has put a thumb on the scale.

Didn’t Rosenstein tell a committee that it was basically a joke made out of frustration?

And what is Michael Cohen going to jail for?

Proves the Russia investigation was a Coup

You imagine the chaos these idiots could have caused if 45 was removed under the 25th amendment?

Reports are that's what he told Trump. I don't know that he said it under oath.

And Comey SHOULD HAVE been fired. His FBI illegally spied on a Presidential campaign, lied to Congress, leaked confidential information, and much more

Rod needs to go NOW

Do CEOs typically call middle management? No. Can they? Yes. But unless you either made the company look good it made it a ton of money, you should probably be shitting your pants.

Firing Comey gave Rotheinstein the power to create the Special Counsil. I hope that dude gets what’s coming sooner than later.

What, call the director that works for you is odd?

Naw what would be odd is if he were calling a field agent in Modesto.

Correct. Remember, this same FBI used foreign spies paid by Hillary to spy on Trump's campaign

They used the fake dossier to obtain a FISA warrant. McCabe himself said there would be no FISA warrant without the dossier

Makes me sick

president, your boss, can do whatever the frick he wishes. The fact that he doesn’t or can’t is just the culture bred by flimsey leadership. You take that call immediately you POS.

I’m not looking up actual testimony because it’s time I get started... but he spoke to congressional investigators.

Whenever a TDS lib comes out with a book they believe every single word 100%

What are they missing here? The fact that the freaking FBI engaged in a coup

they were using contractors to spy anyway. The FISA shenanigans were just a way to cover the fact they were spying without any authorization.

Thats where the real trouble is. That's how bad the abuse was. Its like people think warrants magically unlock doors like in Zelda. No, those doors are open all the damn time. You can walk through whenever the hell you want and they were.

Best way I heard it described is that the entire situation boiled down to this: "It was two kids who liked to frick trying to make it honest".
