Why exactly do Democrats believe that traditional privileges against disclosure - namely those related to medical records, accounting records, financial records, and lawyer’s records do not apply to Donald Trump, especially when these are all based on his activities as a private citizen.
There is no legal basis for the disclosure of his tax returns, accountant’s records, or lawyer’s records. For any of that to be released via subpoena- there has to at least be a lawsuit filed, or a criminal proceeding going on that makes those documents relevant. You can’t just go ask for that shite because you may find something.
They can memo to understand all they want - but they clearly don’t understand anything.
