I can’t imagine being this beaten and going public with it. When I was at the LSU/Bama NC game in 2011 I just walked straight back to the hotel and was pissed. I didn’t cry about it on every social media platform for 3 years about it.

Some "liberals" could credibly claim patriotism all the way the end of the Cold War. Certainly cats like JFK, Tip O'Neill, Russell Long, Charlie Wilson, etc., were patriotic AF. The Democrat party was chock full of those guys.
Today? Down to a handful of Jim Webb, Tulsi Gabbard, Tammy Duckworth types and some of those are sketchy as it is.
