He's not tone deaf. Mockler is a sponsor AND he's friends with the family. It's the same with those EV charging stations he and Theriot have been pushing. Most of his audience will, in some way, shape or form, side with oil & gas. He's just pushing an investment his buddy Theriot made.

Question for you, or anyone. At what point will a person not bend or be influenced by the crowd. What moral code will you not go beyond? Where will you stop when society demands that you give them every right you now enjoy as a US citizen?

Will you nail the nails or just allow the nails to be driven in the cross by someone else in the crowd?

Dude, maybe you should step away from the internet for a while.

I think the entire tranny issue is crazy and Bud Light is idiotic for putting one on a can.

But how far should businesses, especially small businesses, go?

Should the janitorial service that cleans Mockler quit? Should the chemical supply company or, perhaps the landscaping company, tell them to find someone else?

Or perhaps their CPA should fire them as a customer? Or their lawyer?

What exactly are you suggesting?

I’m not suggesting anyone do anything. I’m just making an observation and asking a series of questions.

The only thing that guy cares about is doing what his corporate bosses tell him to do.

If ESPN told him he had to wear nothing but roller skates and gold hot pants on his show, he'd email them his waist and shoe size immediately.

You appear to be suggesting that any media outlet, or even any company that does business with InBev (or even associated companies, like distributors) is evil.

I'm asking you how far do you take it. Is their lawn service evil as well? Their janitor? Their employees?

Excellent questions. I really don’t have the answer. Just prompting discussion.

As far as necessary to root out this cancer. No one gets the benefit of the doubt anymore as far as I’m concerned.

As far as I know, Moscona works for Guaranty Media, not ESPN.

I assume they just pay ESPN for use of the name. SiriusXM did the same thing for their ESPN On Campus college sports channel, but they recently dropped the ESPN.

Guaranty Media, the only locally owned and operated broadcast group in Baton Rouge, is home to five radio stations, reaching over 200,000 people per week, offering listeners four different formats: News Talk, Sports Talk, Country and Rock.

Maybe, but it is a topic worth discussing.

I am not suggesting he cut ties with Mockler Beverage. At the same time, I’ve never seen Bud Light prominently displayed on his desk.

Mockler is about 90% conservatives, especially the owners. Worked there for a little while, saying that F Bud light. It's not good anyway. Drink real beer.

So that’s what you think this topic encompasses?

Ok, that’s fair. But I think most realize that there are larger issues in this discussion.

No, there really are not.

You are conflating the behavior of a multi-national billion dollar company with a radio guy who is hired by a DIFFERENT company.

Are small businesses, and even consumers, supposed to agree with everything these giant companies do? If would be impossible.

The answer is to do business with mostly local companies, which is hard, but even they are not all honest and moral.

I don't believe business transactions are an endorsement of the morality of the other side of the deal.
