Thank you for confirming my statement. MAGA is not traditional Republican.
Who was the last traditional Republican to win the presidency in your mind?
W certainly wasn’t. So maybe it’s just that they can’t win national elections and haven’t done so in a long time. Certainly no chance of the popular vote.

He’s an obtuse tool of the left.

I like Emmers stance on abortion.
But this guy pushed for a lease on copper and nickel mines in Minnesota for foreign companies. One a Chilean company and we have a special h1b for Singapore and chile.
So this is a bad look for massie if we are trying to do good by the American worker.

Gaetz had all the dems.
Massie isn't going to do that crap.
Gaetz had multiple republicans on his side, with specific stated goals and concerns about McCarthy. I shared his concerns and I was glad to see McCarthy go.
The fact that Massie is just a hard no with no backup plan, and was otherwise willing to side with McCarthy, who did similar if not worse shite (like renewing Biden's spending for 2 yrs), makes zero sense to me.
I like Massie. I'm a fan. I don't think he's doing this as some kind of anti-Trump anything - but I just don't see what this accomplishes, especially since Gaetz did show a path towards retribution if Johnson fricks everything up in March. I get that Gaetz is a showboat, but that vacating the Speaker was not pointless. It was pretty genius and can be used as a cudgel if need be.

His "constituents" vote for him because he has an R after his name and is an incumbent. No other reason.
