The oil war is a good thing.
The market is going to shite itself again this week due to the spike in US cases, at least until investors are told that the spike is due to a spike in testing (ie: those cases were already there, you just didn't know about them) and when deaths barely change.
The oil war is a great thing overall. No economy runs without fuel, cheaper fuel means not just more money for people to buy things (other than fuel) with but combine this with the market jitters and I would not be shocked to see quite a few prices coming down (especially if supply lines are stabilized).
If COVID-19 fizzles out by May (just speculating here), this summer could be fricking spectacular for travel businesses as everyone comes out of their bunkers.

I'm more interested in the bond markets than equities.
Once the 10yr gilt hits negative rates, the 10yr t-bill won't be far behind.
Smaller FI's are gonna have their hands full trying to manage gap ratios and stay competitive in lending. Mortgage markets could get irrationally low. Also curious what this does to cap rates.
Hope the rates get back in line soon and these smaller banks don't make huge changes in their bond portfolios.

I’ve been buying and will continue to buy.
Also refinanced at 3.2
Holding out on a new vehicle purchase to see what offers will be out there.
Might take an extra vacation or two this year on top of what is already planned thanks to some sweet deals that will be out there.
I will send China and Saudi a thank you card at the end of the summer.

The wife received an unsolicited 15% discount offer for a 2-day minimum stay at an IHG hotel we stayed at for July 4th in NYC (actually LSC) 2 years ago.
As this goes on and travel continues to fall, expect some amazing deals on hotel stays, flights, cruises, etc.
