Treason is being used generically, doesn’t really apply, and is more hyperbole. That said, he looks to be in the crosshairs and according to many military men I’ve talked to, is accountable. Most feel that Milley should have resigned rather than undermine the nuclear chain of command. Again, as it played out, he was 100% wrong and his actions were unnecessary and dangerous.

I’ll state again, Benedict Arnold was a good commander, wounded three separate times in battle I believe. But it was his belief in the perceived injustices he had received from the Continental congress, and monetary gains, that set his course of action.
Milley made extremely poor decisions based on false personal feelings he had towards Trump. It doesn’t matter who is president, these types of actions are wrong and potentially dangerous and he needs to be made example of.

The TDS is based on this being spun as a Trump issue. This is a Milley issue. With him making poor decisions that, even according to you, may include several UCMJ violations. Obviously, in your view, people with dissenting opinions of this Milley issue are Trump worshiping glue huffers and their opinions are invalid. Why try to change the argument to one of “freedom of expression” when no one on a message board questions it.

I understand it is hard to separate the good from the bad.

26 years ago one of my best friends killed his ex girlfriend and himself.
We were reminiscing last weekend about him and his exploits. A fun, great guy who ended up doing one of the most evil things imaginable. When he comes up in conversation, I always mention his ex and how inexcusable it was for him to take her life. She in no way did anything to deserve what happened. I truly have to make an effort to do this, because no one saw that side and the it made no sense. Some still refuse to believe it played out like it did.
