Fictive history of people who didn’t exist.

The ancient Israelites were Canaanites and shared the same gods, culture, language, alphabet, and genetics. Pick up a real book and learn all about it.

God declared the land to be Israels. The only country in the world in which God set the borders.
Even if someone doesn't believe that, that's fine. Doesn't change anything. Let's say Israel took it, it's still theirs. Countries and nations have changed throughout history by people conquering other people and taking the land.
Cry about injustice all you want, life isn't fair and the Palestinians are unable to drive Israel out. Period.
The end.

Why did God promise Abraham and Jacob and Moses and so on that it would be their land forever? Seems like “God” broke his promise, no?

Take Israel - they had some version of a kingdom from about 1100-700BCE. Then about 100 years when Judas Maccabeus let a revolt against the Seleucids. Then almost the last 80 years or so. Let’s call it 500 years. Israel has been ruled by people claiming to be Israelites for 500 of the last 3100 years.

I agree with this.

Just because you leave your house or are even forced out doesn't mean it doesn't belong to you. Forever is an end result, not the middle.

Somebody told me that part of the conflict was the Holy City of Jerusalem. It’s unreal how many times Jerusalem is mentioned in the Koran about its significance in Islam as the Holy City and how important it is to the Islamic faith.

Always considered Muhammad to be the first New Ager. He cobbled together Christianity, Judaism, and Arab paganism with a love message. Then set out to murder or enslave everyone who disagreed.

I watched some videos of Orthodox Jews that were against the Israeli government treatment of the Palestinians.

Yes, and for theological reasons which I found interesting. Some of the orthodox believe the creation of Israel was wrong, because man was delivering what god had promised.

Bible says God sets the bounds of all countries.

I bet you won’t believe that your book says the exact opposite of your comment if I just call you a dumbass, so I’ll post the inspired word of God for you here:

Deuteronomy 32:8-9, ESV
quote:

8When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance, when he divided mankind, he fixed the borders of the peoples according to the number of the sons of God. 9But the LORD’s portion is his people, Jacob his allotted heritage.

Also you’ll notice there are two gods mentioned here by name. El Elyon “god most high” and Yahweh “the LORD”. When the father god divided the nations and set their borders, he gave Israel to Yahweh to lord over those particular people. Yes the Israelites were polytheists.

Psalm 82 might be my favorite. It’s short, it complements Deut 32:8-9 very well, and it’s a great example of Israelite polytheism as it explicitly names El Elyon and Yahweh and also mentions the unnamed other gods multiple times.

quote:

Rescue the Weak and Needy A Psalm of Asaph. 1God has taken his place in the divine council; in the midst of the gods he holds judgment: 2“How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked? Selah 3Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. 4Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.” 5They have neither knowledge nor understanding, they walk about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken. 6I said, “You are gods, sons of the Most High, all of you; 7nevertheless, like men you shall die, and fall like any prince.”a 8Arise, O God, judge the earth; for you shall inherit all the nations!

If the "Twelve Tribes" ever actually existed (which they did not),

What a buffoon

Thats like saying 12 Indian tribes never existed in N. America because they were displaced by conquering Europeans. Yet, here they still are.

Just because your warped ideology cant accept these histories, doesnt mean they arent accurate
