quote:And that is my issue. It is a damn 1 way street with them.
Do you cops feel the need to be as respectful as you require us to be?
Disagreeing, questioning them, saying something they don't want to hear is considered being disrespectful, but they have absolutely no problems being disrespectful to the rest of us.
quote:And once again, different standards for different groups.
You seem to indicate that the cops are justified in breaking the law if I am a disrespectful animal. I do not see any word from you regarding disrespectful cops.
The ones backed by governmental authority to commit violence are held to lower standards than the rest of us.

with all their firearms.
You act like they were breaking the law or something and the cop was supposed to confiscate their guns. You are pretty retarded.

Actually I learned long ago how to handle your kind. Every interaction is recorded. My conversation begins and ends with "I am recording this conversation, please state your name and badge number for the recorder." Then I choose to not to say another word.
You've been watching too many youtube vids of border patrol anarchists.

I can agree with that in some instances.

sure but i would point out that you would never be able to list all the legitimate arrests.
Sweet. Again, what percentage of criminal behavior from the police is acceptable? 5%, 10%, 2%?

Cops also go to jail.

Of course there are bad apples in the profession.
They do the shittiest job of policing their own. The Blue Wall is the worst thing to happen to that profession.

You sound like one of the folks who get their asses beat down, because of your, NOBODY IS GONNA TELL ME, attitudes. Just like that guy in the OP. I guess he showed them, huh?
You sound like one of those that kicks in a door in the middle of the night because you can. Ooops did not work out so well for one recent.....
That is what you sound like

2am, two kids walking down the side of the road with multiple firearms (pistols, rifles and shotguns). You think it isn't wise of LE to be apprehensive and in a defensive mode upon first observation?

that the husband is dead because of the wife disciplining her child is absurd....it really is an absurd argument
Would he be dead, had she not violently attacked her child in public?

I was doing it long before them...Still do it to this day. I will comply with the requests for ID, etc. if they have a right to it.
I will not say a damn word. I have that right and choose to exercise it. The fact you find a strategy supported by the ACLU as laughable tells me all I need to know about your actions "on the job"

If a cop does enough to get sued and lose, why do we not hear of more of them going to jail?
One's civil and one's criminal with different rules of evidence?

Yep, just one more example of cops acting like thugs. We won't hear a peep from the "good cops" who should be demanding these individuals be held accountable for their actions. That is probably because good cops don't exist. Once again though, nothing will come of this. These thugs will get docked a little bit of pay, suspended for a short amount of time, and then go about their merry little lives. The rest of us would be locked away for doing something like that. We just get held to a higher standard than the uneducated, adrenaline junkies who happen to be backed by the government and can harass and assault citizens at whim.
Upvote.

Would he be dead, had she not violently attacked her child in public?
Probably not.

've been discussing the situation posted and those similar in general. How you construe that to believe I think anyone who wears the badge, is above reproach, is kinda confusing to me. Of course there are bad apples in the profession. Just as there is in all walks of life. That's a really weak supposition.
I admit, I am not always on here and may have missed where you have called for the arrest of a cop that misbehaved while on duty.
Here you have many cops that feel the need to pepper spray and then lay on top of ONE unarmed guy. They kill the guy and your only concern seems to be for the cops. Oh, that and the fact that it did not work out so well for the jerk.

So a third party can be killed by the actions of 2 other parties now?
interdasting. tell me more how a fight between two other citizens should result in the death of a third not involved in the altercation....

Ever hear of Internal Affairs? Most agencies have these.

Sometimes. Sometimes not.
