New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani walked back his promise to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after months of doubling down on a campaign pledge to enforce an International Criminal Court warrant.

Mamdani said in a social media video Tuesday that he does not have the legal authority to arrest Netanyahu, but said the Israeli leader is not welcome in New York City ahead of his expected attendance at the annual United Nations General Assembly in September.

Trump should tell the UN that they are no longer welcome in NYC by the local regime so they ought to relocate tom somewhere in Africa.

No shite he doesn’t have the authority.

This was retarted to begin with. We don’t even acknowledge the ICC either.

Funny how these idiots hate the police and then thought they would use them to arrest an international leader.

And here I was hoping that dumbass would actually try to interject himself unlawfully into an international situation. Surely there is some federal statute mandating a low level government agency cannot interfere into the international business of the federal government.
