Making money off a tragedy

Do you believe:
A - It is good thing for an individual or company to make more money from a tragic situation. Increased revenue / profits are a great thing and should be kept by the individual or company
B - Any additional money made by an individual or company during a tragic time should not be kept, but donated to charity. Or the individual or company should not be allowed to make more money.
C - Something else?

If the company was already involved with the person… like turning point and Charlie Kirk.

In this case, any money coming in appears to be being used to grow TPUSA, thus spreading Charlie’s message.
I don’t see that as a bad thing.
It’s the charlatans/scam artists trying to benefit off this people need to be wary of.

For me personally it’s morally acceptable to make money based on intention/motive. For instance, if you’re selling “Freedom” shirts or “We are Charlie” and your intention is to get people involved and keep the message going, I’m good with it. Unfortunately there’s no way for us to know every person’s intentions, so that will be between themselves and God
