My family is in the fabrication and supply side for large scale construction (ie. Steel and Aluminum). In short, their business, at least according to some posters on this board, is supposed to be crashing down in flames. In reality, though, business is booming and they are actually referring work to a "competitor" (The company that my family used to work for). Perhaps they are just really good at what they do, but they told me they haven't seen business this strong in decades (my Pop has been in the industry for over 50 years). Maybe Ford is just poorly run.

Mulally retired and he turned Ford around. Without him I'm very doubtful Ford is in good hands.

When a business reacts to policy in a way we don't like, it's definitely the business that's the problem. Just ask advocates of the "living wage".
