He says the Dems should've waited to impeach based on Trump interfering in the DOJ's ZTE and Halkbank investigations, asking Xi for electoral assistance in 2020.

Yeah, I love that people still are under some goofy illusion that Bolton his holding on tight to some massive doozy that is going to be the ONE THING to do Trump in and it will finally be revealed to all if this "book" is ever released.

Sessions was the first US senator to endorse Trump when nobody else in Congress would dare to do that and he took a big political risk to do that. People in DC thought sessions was crazy to do that.
Sessions gave Trump an air of legitimacy that the candidate was looking for.
And furthermore, Sessions hasn't written a tell all book about Trump and hasn't even said so much as a cross word about the President despite his repeated attacks and endorsing his opponent.
Meanwhile Sessions is endorsed for a return by the people charged with enforcing border security and our immigration laws, the unions for ICE and CBP.
