MAGA ex-congressman Santos banned from Kalshi for betting on himself not to attend SOTU

The company announced the ban on Santos after its Compliance Department found reasonable cause to believe Santos engaged in insider trading, contributing to speculation over whether he would attend the address before turning a $17,839 profit on his trading activity when he did not.

The lifetime ban, effective last Friday, on Santos prevents him from accessing Kalshi’s platform directly or indirectly. The site also imposed a $71,356 penalty.

Indeed. But he’s inadvertently exposing the corruption- and the double standard of “justice.” I’m glad he’s being punished, but it reminds me that the rest of them are getting away with it. He’s the (guilty) scapegoat. Can we get the rest of them please? Imagine how much more money we’d all have.
