Hell I’m just trying to figure out what to do with my LSU Nike swoosh hat. Seems a desecration to burn it because LSU. I’ll probably just use it for yard work and never buy another one.

I understand not buying Nikes anymore to hurt their revenues, but why would you care about Nike SPENDING money on LSU?

They pay LSU so their logo is all over the place. As LSU sports does better then in turn the Nike brand does better. More success at LSU = more brand awareness and logos in front of a larger audience.

There are a lot of school who use under armour who's traditional jersey's have remained the same. I wouldn't be opposed to LSU using UA.

I don't have any Nike shoes to burn, plus they would make a better dog chew toy if I had any.

Either way, you’re going to be paying a stupid amount for apparel.

Wait, I'll jump on this movement if it means we get to bring in Under Armour. That's the best quality gear out there.

Still way too expensive. $80 for a collared shirt is ridiculous.

You've got a point there. I've bought quite a bit of their golf gear, and even after four years, the stuff I bought back then is still in as good of shape as the day I bought it. I wear it to work and I'm pretty rough on clothes, so I pretty much just wear UA to work these days.

I guess that, if I think the degree of outrage over Nike is ridiculous, this board considers me to be a flaming liberal or traitor?

Not necessarily. No one really cares what their favorite school wears on the field.
