Beyond the North gates has ways been ghetto. You used to be in a rough area as soon as you hit the Taco or Wienershnitzel on Highland what was that, 4 or 6 blocks?

And unfortunately, this percentage isn't very high.

It will be interesting to see where this goes. We are going to reach some kind of tipping point where normal family people just walk away, and certain companies and institutions realize the money is actually drying up.
Then you're going to see a non-PC crack down on all this stuff. It will be wild to witness.

You know why older people are always calling younger people stupid? Because it’s true
You know why younger people always respond like a toddler the way you just responded? Because you also know it’s true

Graduated from LSU in 82. From B.R. Have lived in Fla for the last 25 years. I've been to over 100 games in Tiger Stadium. Last game was 12 years ago and everything inside/outside stadium was pretty much the same, except outside Tailgate scene which I'd say was "better", which I think (thought) was due to more and more Tiger fans really embracing, preparing & spending considerable $$ to make it THE most fabulous Game Day Tailgate experience in any Sport/Team/School anywhere on Earth!
Other schools may argue about Fans and/or which Stadiums are loudest; but every other Fan Base becomes remarkably quiet when LSU's Game Day Experience and "Tailgates" specifically are mentioned. They are Iconic & Legendary! So much so that no one even attempts to argue, compare. LSU Tailgates are SO indisputably #1......Food/Drink/Women/Fun SO exceedingly lavish, extensive that there is NO talk, mention of a #2 "runner up". No one knows, cares or even brings it up.
LSU's Fans & S. La. culture Invented, Exclusively Owns & has forever Monopolized Tailgating! And there are NO Franchises available; nor have there been any requests, for everyone knows it would be impossilbe to replicate anywhere else!
All of the above leads me to ask, and tell me straight, for it's been 12 years since I've experienced the Full Game Day Experience (Tailgate + Night Game).
Has it really changed? Specifically - How/Who/What is fundamentally different? The "demographics" on Campus & Stadium for LSU Football games were generally an "upscale" event with the majority being "middle to upper middle class". Many LSU Female Fans, especially for games @ night where it's not as hot, go all out & Dress as though it were a high-fashion event/outing.
Everyone involved was jovial, excited, welcoming. There was the occasional fight amongst drunks. And the far & few between NCAA (no class at all) standouts.
Please don't tell me Tailgating @ LSU has been "invaded" by an entirely different "culture" that has changed or ruined the "Vibe". How inundated or noticeable is it? Has the LSU Game Day &Tailgate experience become "unrecognizable" from before!? That would be Huge & Tragic, and therefore want and need to know.
