Having a governor like Bobby Jindal has consequences.
THAT'S what elected a Democrat in a solidly Republican state.
And when Edwards ran for re-election the GOP lined up a clown show to oppose him.
NOW, it looks like Jeff Landry is the frontrunner when Edwards' term is over. Landry is just awful and he will again leave open an opportunity for a moderate Dem., if a qualified Repub does not run.

Nah, Jindal was terrible but David Vitter was polling well enough to win in spite of Jindal until two RINOs in Scott Angelle and Jay Dardenne thought it was a good idea to savage and trash the GOP front runner they had no hope of defeating.

And they still didn't defeat Vitter but they savaged him so bad their own voters went to JBE instead in a temper tantrum. A month between the first round and the runoff was not enough time for cooler heads to prevail and Vitter to consolidate the base.

Angelle even spread lies about Vitter killing hookers at one point. That was a low point of the 2015 campaign.

The GOP didn't line up a clown show against JBE. A clown show lined himself up against JBE.

What's funny is that clown show Rispone did everything he could do to lose the 2019 election and even then, JBE needed astronomical turnout in Orleans parish to survive by 2 points.

Rispone flipped back several parishes that JBE won in 2015.

After 8 years of John Bel Edwards and his COVID tyranny being fresh in voters minds, GOP will be the solid favorite.

Btw, A black democrat is the most likely candidate. JBE is the only white statewide candidate that democrats have run in the last several years as the other races have had black democrats. You can imagine how that's going to work out here for Governor in 2023.

Two more weeks to stop the spread ya’ll.

You can do it! Alone together! *heart hands*

Or come on up to the Sip and taste freedom and drop some coin in the slots before you go.

I forget just how well Louisiana performed under Jindal's 8 year reign. So please enlighten me and others here of his many accomplishments that put Louisiana on top economically. Now dont count the chicken houses in North Louisiana because those jobs flew the coup.

Jindal didn't help things but Louisiana's problems are far greater than him

Jindal stayed out of our way and didn't make life hell for the middle class trying to earn a living and provide for themselves and their families.

JBE can't even do that because he's a control freak of a tyrant on top of his narcissist leftism.

Jindal didn't also steal money out of our wallets with absolutely nothing positive to show for it.

JBE is teaching the people of Louisiana a harsh and painful lesson in that there is no such thing as a conservative blue dog democrat both on the federal and state levels of government.

Purportedly "conservative" voters in Jefferson and St. Tammany Parishes reelected JBE. I know some of these people. It's astounding.

How do they feel now?

Any buyers remorse?

Any sense of reality that JBE never gave a single shite about them and their kids?

No Jindal stole from Peter to pay Paul. Ask state employees how he took funds from Group Benefits surplus that was intended to be used to pay their healthcare claims, or his raids on statepension plans to cover his spending. His blowing through Katrina dollars, or the Bayou Corne disaster. JBE is heads and shoulders above Bobby Jindal. Jindal was Grover Norquist's puppet.

Do I believe there were some childish "conservatives" that were involved in JBE's win? Absolutely!

Just look at the Jefferson Parish political bosses!
