This is fcking a retarded statement, it’s incredibly hard

Every government agency does it, including school districts, fire departments, and police departments and they aren’t coming up short like this.

Some twit asked who to blame for a recession. This shite in LA is happening to leftist governments all over the country.

How about blaming them?

Los Angeles

My least favorite of America's large cities. The traffic, the people, the homeless camps, and the general shitty condition of everything......it's impressive in the worst way.

I get downvoted when I say cali is shite and has one of the worst debt ratios in the country.

They wouldn’t last two weeks without the fed.

They spend too much money and Newsom has ran off taxpayers.

Memphis hit a fiscal cliff about 15 years ago. They ended up cutting workers and moving a lot of public service personnel (like firefighters) away from a pension and towards a defined contribution plan. I'm sure they'll return to their old ways of failing constantly....but for a while they were probably in better fiscal shape than their peers because of the hell they went through back then.

Los Angeles and Chicago still haven't dealt with their issues. If they get funding from the state or the feds, they'll keep kicking the can down the road.
