Looks like there is finally a move toward a constitutional convention in Louisiana.

This will be all about restructuring the way the state budgets its money, taxes and spends. Simplify everything, get rid of all the protected funding, put everybody on equal footing.

My biggest worry is that special interests will seek to control the agenda of the convention.

If we do this right, it will be great. But I no longer trust politicians to get it right. It will be a grind.
