Trump 1 was not extreme or are you saying people backing him were wanting extreme changes? If the latter, you have to remember that many of those people saw the left winning on every extreme cultural issue. Of course, there is going to be backlash and a hard shift the other way from people wanting the pendulum to swing back as fast and hard as possible. It's a natural reaction.

To be fair, black fatigue is the fault of many blacks. Even my black neighbors have told me they have black fatigue. You might not agree, but it needs to be called out as doing nothing about it has caused it to escalate and the sense of entitlement to grow.

Also, regarding Nick's antisemitism, that group also does itself zero favors.

Both might be a perfect storm to give rise of younger extremists as you said but that will just cause a hard shift back left sooner rather than later.
