I mean, he made the statement about more than 50 countries. Having never been to many of them I can't say for sure but I have no doubt that a lot of them are indeed shitholes.
By the way, by GOP hacks I was referring to the two reps that were present and seem to remember lots of details about the meeting buy conveniently "dont recall" the shithole comments. Those two reps just HAPPEN to be the two immigration hardliners specifically brought in by Stephen Miller.
If you guys want to stick your head so far up Trumps arse that, even in light of all these "convenient" facts you believe he did not make these comments, by all means get up in that shithole. Just dont try to convince me it smells like roses.

The shithole comment was not in reference to Haitians. Durbin spun it. The Haitians are here on temporary status that has run it's course. They should go back, and we don't need any more. "Don't recall" that being said --in specific reference to Haitians--likely didn't happen.

2. As was mentioned in another post, the president should have simply stuck with the idea of merit based immigration. I have no issue with that. His statement makes it looks like the country one is born is necessarily means that they are not capable of being a productive citizen.
3. His choice to choose Norway, the fricking whitest country ever, after making the statements about all the brown countries, while not necessarily racist, is at the very least terrible optics. He does his cause a disservice by making these statements.

I believe you misread my post or the quote I was responding to. Or I am misunderstanding how your post is relevent to the tactic of using the actions of HRC to defend the actions of others.

When you have no valid argument and so decide to use a bunch of big words everyone sees through it. You'd be better off just saying "I have no argument because I am not a smart person".
