You can really see who is corrupted by propaganda and are easily led through false narratives and made up drivel. How sad to see some of the responses in here agreeing with the OP.

Well, you think Reagan was a good president so you have ZERO credibility when talking about Trump.

What propaganda exactly do you think has caused folks to prefer DeSantis over Trump?

Desantis is MAGA. You aren't. So, who is your candidate?

I think most of those you support will end up being excommunicated from the party within the next 2.5 years.

DeSantis is DeSantis. He understands the cultural war in a way Trump never will. Trump is great at drawing out the idiots and making them unhinged, but I don't think he can fight the battles substantively the way Desantis can. Maybe it doesn't matter, they're all going to disappoint us.

I would prefer DeSantis to Trump, but not if it is some gloves off war to get there. Not sure who else you think I support, the only "non-MAGA" guy I'll vote for is pro-life, anti-CRT, anti-trans stuff and just gave my state constitutional carry.

They should both be allowed to run

However, you can see the RINO's starting to turn on Desantis. The deep state will unleash the non-stop lies and disinformation campaign against Ron and many will say how divisive Ron desantis is. I love me some Ron, but both should be able to run.

You are falling right into their trap. Desantis knows better, how do you not?

Your downvotes aren't gonna change you being a useful idiot.

Don't get me wrong. I support Trump and will vote for him every time......but whether its .fair or not, he is toxic to a lot of people. I know plenty of people who voted for Biden for no other reason than they just didn't like Trump. Plus I think DeSantis is a savvier and more sophisticated operator who can govern. Trump not so much.

What I am interested in is getting this regime out of power before they do any more damage to this country that is unrecoverable. If its Trump fine I just think DeSantis has a better chance of winning a national election.

The MSM will brainwash the same idiots that turned on Trump to Trump on DeSantis. These people that were swayed away from Trump will fall for the same bullshite when it's done to DeSantis.

So.....answer the question.

Or just keep on with the really effective 'useful idiot' name calling strategy.

For those who want Trump for the media meltdown

Just wait until DeSantis skewers the press as POTUS. You'll get your wish. Trump trolled them to death, Ron would do that and he'd substantively outflank them.

Anyway, Trump's fine, but I think you'd get your wish either way.

That is a solid plan.

I love this line of thinking. The progressives have all the money, ivy league think tanks, tech monopolies, and legacy media outlets under their thumb. And minority terrorists to lay all our major cities to waste as a last resort. But hey, let’s just map out the next 30 years of republican rule like they haven’t been ahead of us at every fricking turn so far

I’m routinely impressed by many sharp thinkers on this board, but somehow everyone’s brain turns to mush when Trump comes up

The reason you think Trump is so decisive is because you were told to think that. What will you do when you are then told DeSantis is just like Trump? Magically gonna be a free thinker?

I do actually think Trump is decisive.

I also have seen him be blatantly, unapologetically, intentionally, unintelligently, and most important POINTLESSLY divisive.

Sounds to me that you know a lot of stupid people who support pedophilia, abortion, open borders, CRT, BLM & Antifa.

You need to stay away from those weirdos.

Desantis is the front runner for the Presidency in 2028 if he stays out of Trump’s way in 2024. The Democrats don’t have someone of his caliber to beat him.

He isn’t ruining his chance at becoming President by running in 2024.

Yeah it's a good point. I'm still waiting for the other shoe to drop to mess up the 2022 bloodbath, much less banking on a heavy R lean in 2024. Tons could change.

Because you are told to think that. Wait until you're told to feel that way about DeSantis. OR maybe you've learned your lesson.

Because the media and left were relentless. I don't disagree Trump stepped on his dick in his tweets plenty, but if we had a more objective media he wouldn't have had to go to war with words.

I am not sure how I can say that much of everyone's "Trump is toxic" came from the propaganda machine of the MSM and Deep state, and help others accept it.

Negative hit piece's DAILY, no politician before him has had to endure that kind of onslaught in my lifetime. NONE and it worked to shape people's opinions.
