I mean, this is amazing. I have to admit, I wouldnt have foreseen this 6 years ago. Here's what Pimp predicted:

I watched Trump on Piers Morgan last night.
I'm not a Donald "guy" , haven't watched his show, and am generally "-meh-" towards his schtik.
It's obvious he is running for POTUS.
I would classify his diagnosis as AMERICAN DECLINISM and his cure as ECONOMIC NATIONALISM.
A bit like Pat Buchanon, but without the "culture warrior" baggage.
I was really surprised how much I agreed with him.
He wants to play economic hardball with China, Opec & others.
He's hit a particular strain of POPULIST thought that is sweeping the American Zeitgeist.
And I really think his message could resonate at this EXACT moment in American History.

Was that a pretty damn good prognostication or what? Trump's message started reverberating with me in July, 2015. But 6 years ago? I'm pretty sure I would've laughed at the idea of a potential 'President Donald Trump' back then (maybe I need to check the thread and see if I said anything stupid....lol).
Anyway, major props to Lsupimp for having the foresight to predict this. Basically, 5 years later, this is how it played out.

It's really a good description. Pat himself is a big TRUMP fan.
I'll admit I used to think he was protectionist but it turns out he was right.

Yep this one got bumped a while back - perhaps while you were taking a break or banned, but still worth another share.

I have said for years that Pimp is in the top handful of political posters on td.com. He's in the pantheon of greats. His six year old perceptive prescient post is palpable positive proof.

Meh, I wholeheartedly disagree about the "cultural warrior" thing.
During just the last year or two, the left has engaged in the most aggressive attempt at a hostile take-over of our culture than I have witnessed in my lifetime.
This attempted hostile take over was as instrumental in the election of Trump as anything. It was as important as the economic message.
Pimp nailed everything else, though.
