Yea they have the newest hypersonic missle tech but 1970’s helicopters .

Go look up the new Defiant X and tell me where do you think we got the inspiration for it?? Obviously ours is better and more advanced, but it looks to me like we are did a little spying ourselves. I work for Boeing, who’s building the Defiant X.

Our H1s, most phased out already, initially used Vietnam airframes. Then we upgraded and had all kinds of problems, t/r track and balance, water intrusion into the transmission, 1Z had long weapon system issues.
I deployed first with HH/UH1N in Iraq, we were the second in afg iirc for Yankee. Still had 1W cobras for that in 2010.
But all old platforms are phased out. Should’ve went with 60s instead of H1 upgrade in USMC.

I have my doubts of Russia’s hypersonic missile. The Zicon missile or however they spell is a rethread of an older missile design.
