For the record, Dick Cheney had been gathering support to invade Iraq ever since the Gulf War ended. He even signed a statement in support of that goal before the 2000 election. So if you didn't know that before you voted for him, it's because you're an idiot who didn't do your homework and shouldn't have been voting.

Why is it that every Never Trump Republican is either a neocon or warmongering filth? The leftists who called Dick a war criminal fifteen years ago sure do find common cause with his kind now.

It’s funny..... the base of Trump’s support is largely anti-foreign intervention, while democrats have become the warmongers since Obama’s reign of terror. Since 2016, you can’t really tell the difference between democrats and neocons. Maybe we should call them neocrats for now on

Because Dick IS a neocon. As a member of the now deceased PNAC, he's the very definition of a neocon.
Are you suggesting that everyone should disagree with their enemies 100% of the time? Personally, I don't give a damn what Dick Cheney, or Liz, think and I won't pretend that they're the good guys.
For more context, I also don't consider every Never Trump Republican a neocon, although I'll admit that this label is often thrown around liberally, and inaccurately, by many on the Left. I've also known that neocons are not loyal to any party since before they began switching sides. If you ask most Liberals what they think about the switch, most will tell you they wish they hadn't, in my experience.
Finally, Republicans have been the bigger war mongers in recent times and the reason is simple. It's because Republican politicians are more invested in the MIC, so they have more to gain by war mongering. Maybe that has started to change, IDK, but I hope so.
P.S. back when Cheney was VP, I was literally warning conservatives that neocons were not faithful to the GOP and would eventually switch sides. I don't like it, but I'm not the least bit surprised by it.

The Cheney family's home base is Teton County, Wyoming, the wealthiest county per capita in America. I bet they got a whole bunch of shares of stock in Electric Boat and the Rand Corporation owned in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. They got'em a few boatloads of illegal alien servants too. And lastly, Teton County was the only county in Wyoming, both in '16 and '20, that Trump didn't carry. Figures.
