Just curious. Statistically speaking, 80%+ of whites in Louisiana are Conservative, so that’s why I assumed you were black.

I voted for Reagan in 1980 and several other Republicans thereafter.
I think the Republican party left me, being influenced by people like Jerry Falwell, Rush Limbaugh, FoxNews, etc. The party has shifted to the right, so much so that I don't feel welcome there.
The Republican party that I knew would never, ever support trump, for many reasons. Yet here we are.

It is an objective fact that the Reagan era GOP was far more religious/theocratic than today’s GOP, yet you claim Jerry Falwell drove you from the GOP.
