Rush spoke on this topic himself a few weeks ago. He said Trump would be amazing on radio but no way he would want to be tied down to such a strict time schedule that is required to do the show. Said he could see him as a guest host occasionally but not a regular show.

It’s nearly impossible to replicate the fear mongering, bigotry and hypocrisy that is Rush’s legacy. Trump could be a suitable replacement, but they’ll never be another Rush.
And that’s a good thing.

Put Don Jr in as host with frequent appearances by his father and siblings with guest appearances by conservative pundits and influencers like James Woods then lean on a clever creative professional side kick to fill in the gaps.
Also someone like Rick Grenell would be great to bring in as a regular contributor.
They need to find a way to attract a younger audience who will stay with EIB for another 20 years.

I would make that trade any day. I don't think there could possibly be better entertainment than a Trump radio show where Trump could be free to just ramble on for hours spilling out a stream of conscious of all his thoughts.

Who told you drumpf "worked" 20 hour days? Drumpf? He probably said that. He may have been "up" for 20 hours straight but that doesn’t mean he was doing his job. Jesus, he played golf over 300 days while president...out of a four year term. He was notoriously lazy when it came to doing the actual work of the presidency.
