I’ve been sitting on the sidelines following the discussion, but it certainly seems to me that this conflict regarding Musk and Ramaswami promoting the importation of lower paid coders and engineers to help increase their personal profits, to the detriment of American educated coders and engineers is a legitimate issue.
The resolution of the conflict should be easy because Musk and Ramaswami are not elected to set policy for the USA and their personal interests should be disregarded. But the social dynamic of absolute loyalty to whatever Trump is into at any given moment creates real confusion.
This isn’t “liberals” or “Soros,” it’s a real and legitimate political issue leading up to Trump’s inauguration.
