Let's talk about yesterday

See kids, this is why we call it Cult45 - because it is a cult.
Yesterday and this morning, there is a fascinating refusal to accept reality and admit that yesterday was a good day for Desantis and a bad day for Trump. It happens.
Stop with the bullshite about a tornado (there wasn't one in Des Moines) and how it was so treacherous to fly into Des Moines (when no commercial flights were delayed or cancelled) or that it was so dangerous for the Trumptards on the ground (when other outdoor events went on as scheduled and Ron did an unscheduled meet and greet at a BBQ at the same time and place that Trump was scheduled to speak).
Trump could have flown in and did some unscheduled meet and greets (as Ron did) but he didn't so he had a bad day. Again, it happens.
Best thing that Cult45 could do is take the L, acknowledge reality, learn from the mistakes of yesterday, and move on. It's a long campaign and there will likely be good days for Trump and bad ones for Desantis moving forward.
Instead, Cult45 is trying to convince everyone (including themselves) that Trump, once again, is a victim of circumstance and that the tornado watch made doing any events impossible.
Even the NY Times knows the excuses are bullshite -

Didn’t read. But why are Trump voters “ cultists “ and Biden voters not, again ? Are there not legitimate reasons why someone rational would vote for Trump- you know things like policy and push-back effect on the Kulturesmog ?

Trump is a maroon, he had the built-in excuse of weather in case his crowd was small. Just announce you’re still going and people may not be able to make it but that doesn’t matter, he’s still going to be there. Instead he just cut bait and ran like a scared little bitch.

The "small" crowd EIGHT HOURS IN ADVANCE, outside in threatening weather was bigger than DeSantis's inside, speaking at another RINO's fundraiser, as it was happening.
You guys are cultists, and part of your cult behavior is projecting your cult status onto your superiors.

With all eyes off Trump, it gave DeSantis his chance in the spotlight. With more eyes on BDR, he could have shown his chops.

At least someone else seems to get it.
Everyone biting on the media's shiny hook that is DvT/TvD is essentially doing the progressives' work for them by tearing down our best two candidates in favor of focusing on how both/either are better than Biden.
And there will be those downvoting this post and/or itching to respond with "Yeah, but Trump..." or "Yeah, but Desantis..." without realizing (or refusing to acknowledge) they're carrying water for the Left by continuing to make that fight their focus instead of the fight against the Left.

I hope Trump does these rallies like he did the town hall, pointing out Biden's insane policies and how he's going to fix them. If he just comes out bashing DeSantis every chance he gets it'll turn people off and hurt his chances in the general. He needs to pick up votes, not just play to his fans who are voting him regardless
