Proud of the constant personal attacks made by people who know anything about my personal life? Idk. You tell me. Are you proud of that?

I mean at least own it. I think government school teachers are glorified babysitters in the day an age. Remember school were private long before they ever became public/government.
When you accept that the majority of the kids in government schools in Louisiana are only going for food, then you will understand why the voucher system is necessary.

Sure, but why is it so hard to understand that the public school system isn't producing the educated populace we need, especially compared to the amount of money being given?
This is the reason this is all happening. You lefties arent teaching reading, writing, and arithmetic like you are supposed to be focusing on. Instead y'all push diabolical social indocrination that is not a part of the "society benefits from an educated populace" contract the govt has made with their paying citizens. Ie...govt is a business, and their citizens aren't liking their product no more. "Voting them out" is no longer the only way to get thd point across.
You commies need to remember that in America the people hold the govt accountable at the end of the day, not the reverse.
It really is crazy to think that we are at a point where the Right just wants the govt to produce kids that can read, write and do math. The Left wants the govt to produce trannies, and they can't understand how ridiculous it is.

The current system is a colossal failure, progressives defend the current system.
Sounds like they are terrified of change.

Oh I’m sure. I could be chair of the Louisiana Republican Party and y’all would find a way to disparage me because of it. It’s not my job people here dislike. It’s my opinions. Instead of arguing the validity of those opinions, many of you would rather say I have sex with homeless people. Or say I’m fat and ugly. As if any of those things have anything to do with my ideas.

Thats just insecurity.
Youre being disparaged because you defend the Progressive education ideal while its failing, and push back on every possible thing that could make it better.
The current system cost way too much for the results we get. Its not working.

people aren’t billed the same amount to pay for public education. In most places, educational funding is tied to property taxes which vary by property
Correct as I mentioned in another post there are areas where starting property taxes is at $50k+ per year, and their local public schools are horrendous. So they have to pay 40k+/yr per kid for private schools. Giving them a part back for something they don't use, is a good thing to do. Especially since they aren't as much of a burden on the city as other areas that don't pay property taxes anywhere near these other areas. But would get pooped on because they lean more into the "Colonizers" realm, so they deserve to pay for everything and not get as much from it.

been in public education 43 years in texas. hot wheels needs to cool the voucher program. it is misleading. they say the money can follow the student. that is a lie. people don’t pay 8,000 a year in school taxes. maybe total property tax but school taxes are a small part of the tax pie. it is a handout paid for by tax payers. private and charters don’t play by the same rules in texas. i have read zero information that vouchers help kids learn. morning government is bad for everything.

Progressives usually dont get personally involved unless they work in a particular industry or have a financial interest in it. Youre ideas are word for word from the NEA or NFT manual.
Its hard to believe any normal person could defend the results of education in this country considering the amount of resources spent on it.
Why doom poor kids to shitty inner city schools?
