I believe he's a man with a good heart. I believe he's a fighter. I also believe he's in over his head.

I love him, no he's not perfect (who is) but he's what the country needs. The rest is BS propaganda made up by left who put party over country. MAGA

I do not agree with everything about him but I am so grateful he beat Hillary. He already did the things I voted for but I want some of the other items in his agenda to go through.

I am more upset and disappointed in the GOP in office. They can all go EAD. Trump is up against a multinheaded monster and when one of those heads is the MSM they can get out front with the opposing agenda.

I don't like everything Trump, but he deserves better.

Per Merriam-Webster, who know a thing or two about words:
Definition of xenophobia
: fear and hatred of strangers or foreigners or of anything that is strange or foreign

between what he has said about and/or his stance on Muslims, Mexicans, african-americans, homosexuals, asians, and pretty much anything other than Donald J. Trump, yeah, i'd say he lives up to that definition quite well...

as a president, it's not starting out so great

wait, you think he's doing well so far? i even pulled my punches from what i wanted to say, but i thought it would be unfair to characterize it as what i was gonna say, being its still way early in the presidency...

let's get him to the end of year one with out being censured, impeached, indicted, and/or just straight up just quitting first, before we start talking about "8 years"...

I keep asking, "on what grounds?"

No one can answer that though.

fwiw, i don't see the 1st 3 likely at all.... him quitting, yeah, i get more sure of that by the day... that circle of his is getting thinned out awfully fast, and replacements are tough to find... if he keeps "winning" like he is now, he'll just take his ball and go home... we already have instances of him just quitting on initiatives because he got frustrated or didn't get the ego stroke he was looking for...

if he wasn't such a detestable human being to me, i would really feel sorry for him... the loneliness, pressure, etc..... it's gotta get to him, as it would anyone... but i hope he reaps all that and more, for he has sown it all himself... frick him

Thank you, chRxis, I know we don't always see eye to eye, but you're an honest little proggy!

I don't think Trump is a quitter. A narcissist, crass, egotistical, sometimes a-hole?

Yes.

But that's what I expect him to be. And that's why I voted for him over Hillary.

He's had morento deal with than any other president EVER. He's trying to do the best he can with absolutely nothing from the GOP, libs and all of Congress. Most presidents get s little grace period, hell he just got his people approved.

There could be some great changes this country could make; but Congress is up first, and I am sure that many will be leaving capital hill before trump leaves his desk at the Oval Office.

you mother fricker!

i'm an INDEPENDENT... how many times must i say this!

And that's why I voted for him over Hillary.

who'd you vote for in the primaries? because i can sorta excuse the voting for him in the general, considering the choice, but in the primary, with at least 6 better choices, it's harder for me to understand... and please know, i don't think everyone who voted for him in both or even just in the general as a racist nazi sympathizer, unlike what many think that us non-trump people think...

and i actually see it kinda opposite... i don't think he'll be there by midterms... and it's not coming from a place of "i hope he doesn't", it's just that i don't think he can continue taking it up the arse on the regular from the MSM, the left, the right, etc. for that much longer...

ETA:, how you been? has it been me or you that hasn't been here as much, it seems? i know i been working a lot this week, but i don't recall seeing many of your posts...

Ted Cruz

Good! Because I've said all week it's offensive to me and my family members!

Oh, c'mon. He loves it! You know this.

I haven't been on so much this week bc we've had a lot of rain in New Orleans. I finished two jobs this week; and starting two on Monday. Hurricane season coming up. So, I have to finish them ASAP. Just in case.

were you upset when he endorsed Trump, or relieved? seems that's kinda the only 2 feelings someone in your position could feel about it, at least from an outsiders perspective...

taking it up the arse, or the attention? because in both cases, you are probably right...

first, no one has any idea if he has "fear" in his heart. you're just guessing based on some misunderstandings. second, i haven't heard one thing that leads me to believe that he's a xenophobe. again, people are conflating a national security issue with a racial issue. the man does business with people all over the world. it's a stupid characterization

quote:

wait, you think he's doing well so far?
ugh. have you not seen the lists posted in all these threads? he's accomplished several things despite a behemoth, entrenched political apparatus fighting against him. he's said publicly that he's waiting on them and they're STILL stonewalling about something they KNOW the public wants all because they want to undermine him. why aren't you more upset with congress?

quote:

its still way early in the presidency
EXACTLY! people are criticizing him and he hasn't even had time to break down the establishment yet. they're not going down without a fight. it's going to take some time.

He is surrounded by enemies, even within the White House.

Still, he fights for us.

They will end up taking down but his Presidency and the sacrifice he will make when they finally do him in will serve the purpose of exposing the fact that we no longer live in a country for the people and by the people.

He will be a martyr and one that was needed.
