What do y'all think is going to happen when financial systems collapse?

This is going to cause every country on Earth to collapse as well, and stuff like international trade will likely be dead for a while.

What do you imagine life will be like? How are we going to maintain our technological and electric infrastructures?

Only if you choose. The infrastructure isn't going anywhere, national transactions will disappear temporarily but there will be pockets of success.

There has to be a correction when half the country cannot afford a home. The system isn't working that well regardless.

I asked a cosplayer yesterday if she was willing to kill innocent children and she said yes

National Guard will be deployed to maintain order.

It’s going to be much worse in most ways, better in some. That said, it will be nothing like the Middle Ages. My solution is use the national guard to round up illegal aliens and force them with oversight from the guard that all utilities, roads, factories, etc… remain operational. In return they and their families continue to breathe.

The first major financial institution that crashes I’m buying a yeti 6000x to accompany my whole house gas generator. I currently have about 2-3 years worth of filters for my whole house water filtration system, and my property backs up to the Natchez Trace which is filled with wildlife. My best friend has a working farm that can sustain 300 people.

I'm not

A lot of people are hoping it all burns, excited by the idea as a break from the mundane but I don't think very many people realize how mundane life will be after such an event

For the record I think we're at the beginning stages of the collapse, I think it will be much like the Great Depression in which you'll have 3 generations of a family living together in a house and everyone will be producing some sort of food or doing something useful just to survive

We'll pull through, it will be rough and hard but we'll emerge better for it on the other side

you have to pay humans to mine, refine and transport; oil, gas and coal.

Then you have to pay them run and maintain the power plants, transmission and distribution systems.

If everyone is broke none of those people get paid. You think they will show up to work for free?

No need to imagine. Here a book written by someone who’s BTDT in Argentina. LINK to AMZN Surviving economic collapse HINT: it’s not fun. It’s violent. And you’re probably not going to be any kind of ‘hero’.

Not to mention all the instability from roving gangs of violence.

Everyone posting in this thread just lived through Covid. That was a very slight disruption in the world and we all saw the drastic effects it had. The fact they can't imagine how everything would stop if the worldwide financial system and money as a concept melted down is troubling.
