Left Wing Populism makes no sense to me

My understanding is a left wing populist will often diagnose a problem pretty correct. Courrupt elites, politicians, and corporations all colluding together against the people.
But all of their solutions only seem to strengthen the very elites and oligarchs they are supposedly against? Only enriching them further by propping up big government plans and giveaways that they will all get their sticky hands in the cookie jar.

I occasionally get banned from Reddit when I point out that almost all corporations and billionaires lean hard left.

My exact assessment. The left always cries about the elites and the elites play them like a fiddle.
In whatnworld do the billionaires they claim to hate not have power over the institutions they claim will rectify these discrepancies.

Left wing anything makes no sense to me. When has socialism or communism ever worked. There are very few centrist Democrats left if any.

The basket is filled with the Trumpers, MAGAs, white Christian nationalists, America firsters, threepers, Oathers, Proud bros, Moms for liberty all are permanently emotionally damaged.

Left wingers have the media, education, entertainment, popular culture and the government’s muscle (FBI, CIA, ATF, etc…) and still want to ack like they are oppressed and are fighting the machine.
