This is so far from the truth. The majority of black democrats didn't want Bernie, plain and simple. You can't win the dem primary without them so your'e just wrong.

We’d never know if I was correct because of how they utilized the super delegates.

I guess a little bit of both. I think he could win the nomination, that's why i chose him as facing Trump, but i don't think he has a shot against Trump. I don't know what he brings to the table.

I've heard many never trumpers on TV say Biden is the only Dem they would vote for, otherwise they vote 3rd party.

I'm not sure how true or widespread that would prove to be, but it's an interesting angle.

You mean the same way they used the super delegate system that was used in 2008 to catapult Hillary to the nomination against Obama....

Oh, wait...

You must have seen the articles of the democrats not wanting Biden because people want the new AOC change; and he would be like Obama HRC 2.0. His own home town says he is too old.

ETA: this proves the polls are BS.

I could see this. He's got more of the RINO support like a Clinton would have.

Indeed. But i think as time passes, and Trump's approval rating only get higher, especially on the Republican side, the nevertrumpers like Kasich and Romney are getting fewer and far between. It'll definitely be interesting in seeing how the ever growing Democrat field tries to distinguish themselves. Personally, the only Dem i've heard that didn't sound so batshit was Schultz. The likelyhood of me ever voting for him is small, especially without seeing his full platform, but i don't see more pro-business type candidates as a bad thing.

Who exactly from that list is your insurance policy if Biden doesn't run?

I think establishment Republicans hated Hillary far more than they will ever hate Biden.

Right now, I think it would be between Beto and Kamala if Biden doesn't run... and of course if Beto does.

I don’t understand why everyone is down voting you guys for sharing your opinion. It’s like they didn’t read the title .

Does any democrats have a heavy favorite this year ? In 2016 I think a lot of the voters in the primary were 100% Trump or 100% not Trump.

Would someone please explain to me how being married to the President in any way qualifies you to be the President. If my husband were a doctor, am I somehow qualified to operate on people?

Furthermore- why are the people who make this assine argument, usually “feminists”?

They did just get a 28 year old entitled bartender elected.

No. Right now it looks like Harris is top of the pack that is in. If Biden runs, he's the favorite based on polling and that he'll be able to suck up dollars for the campaign. Bernie has a weakness with african americans he isn't likely to shake but would divide up the progressive vote more.

The thing is, there's not a lot of difference between the candidates. No one has staked out a position well outside the current Dem mainstream. So it's looking more of a question of who's the best retail politician more than some big policy debate.

Amy klobuchar is probably one of the only ones on that list that's not a far left leaning Democrat.

That’s true. But at the very least AOC didn’t define her career by who she is sleeping with.

Or in Hillary’s case, pretending to be sleeping with.

I can live with Johnathan Delaney being our next president if it has to be a democrat. But I don’t think a white heterosexual man can get the radical, white male hating, wing of that party motivated.
