Not as much as your people harp on traitorous statues of men who caused the deaths of thousands of American soldiers.

Might as well put up a statue of Osama Bin Laden if we were are celebrating enemies of the United States of America. He killed FAR fewer good American soldiers than Lee or Jackson. If you support confederates, you hate America and our troops.

Think you just answered your own question son.

As for Jackson, his flank attack at Chancelorsville alone puts him in rare military air.

A flank attack against the United States army that led to 12k American casualties. Why would an American patriot want to celebrate the deaths of so many good American boys who died that day? Seems highly paradoxical.

Like the other idiot, you must not know what this word means. Liberal fricks constantly pretending that words don’t have actual meaning. And then you wonder why everyone thinks you’re a dumb arse.

You’ve got to be fricking kidding me. Yeah, it’s the people that don’t want them torn down that harp on the statues constantly. What a fricking chode.

I’m a Virginian first, and a Southerner second.

That will never change. And I will always be proud of my people.

Yes, slavery kinda matters.

Not if you believe in freedom of association. You don’t, that’s fine. You have plenty of company.

You are the one who supports confederate DEMOCRATS!!

I support the REPUBLICAN party. I support AMERICA!!

If that offends you and your democrat confederate loving butt buddies then maybe you should leave our great country and live in Brazil in their confederate colony?

A country that exports war all over the world. A country that kills brown women and children by the thousands with drone strikes ordered by faceless bureaucrats thousands of miles away. A country that spies on its own citizens while arresting and imprisoning those who expose it. A country that celebrates the murder of hundreds of thousands of unborn children every year. A country that tells children a man can have a vagina and a woman can have a penis. There's so much to be proud of.

Another idiot with no nuance. The explosion in the size and scope of the United States government can be directly traced from the South's defeat to the leviathan we have today. A massive centralized nation with a strong federal government is precisely what the Union fought for.

Americans give your monuments to the Confederates for safekeeping to us in Russia.
We will not damage them, but only save them. And when your political moods even out, take them back.
I look at the monuments, without considering what their prototypes have done in the past, they are very beautiful and undoubtedly reflect the course of history.
I will be very sorry if such beautiful works are handed over to scrap metal or crumbled into pebbles for sidewalks.

You can’t be libertarian and support the confederacy. You’re just another pozer who still thinks it’s cool to label oneself “libertarian” on the internet.

The lost cause myth has been debunked countless times, yet you’re still latching onto this same “war of northern aggression” narrative that the US fought against state’s rights. The south seceded and attacked the union at fort sumter; they were the belligerents. The US government wouldn’t have had to increase their scope of power if the confederacy hadn’t started a war. These are all consequences of the confederacy that you support.

You are so full of shite and don't even realize it. Have you ever read the Kentucky and Virginia Resolutions? Do you know who wrote them and what they stand for? Of course you don't, because you're a blabbering idiot who has no understanding that a permanent and irrevocable union is irreconcilable with the concept of political liberty, even if the region or entity that wants out of said union is imperfect. If you had told our Founding Fathers in the late 1780's that the Constitution they were signing meant that the states they were from could never leave the Union, even if the people of said states wanted out, would they have signed that document? You know the answer.
