Lawrence O'Donnell compares the Capitol to a historic battlefield

Today is my 1st time inside the Capitol since Jan 6. Everything looks the same but it doesn’t feel the same. Maybe I’ll get used to it again but now it feels like a visit to an historic battlefield. Out of every window you see the paths of the attackers.

Dims: The party of weak men and angry women.

No doubt he was literally shaking.

I look at these nuts like LO and quite frankly the rest of both parties like this.... if you ran a business and you knew you could secure 50% of your marketplace $$$ by simply saying and doing the same things, why would you stop. Coca Cola, McD, Ford, Exxon would be doing cartwheels for 50% share.

What is with leftists and getting overly melodramatic and worked up over fricking parking lots?

Lawrence is somehow both at once.
"Do you remember where you were when you heard that there were people in the Capitol building? Nearly 1% of them were heavily armed with zip ties. What if one of them had an eraser and found his way to the Constitution?! He could have erased the 13th Amendment, instantly enslaving black people! Or worse, the 16th Amendment, and the tax code would vanish in front of our eyes, like in Back to the Future! Or.... the 19th Amendment! Without women being able to vote, we'd never get bad laws passed, or another Democrat elected again!!"

Good Lord, so the capital was defiled like a chaste virgin.
No mention of mutilating young American girls tho, right?

AOC was mind raped, if that sorta counts.

Over the top.
The Capitol building is not Bastogne, Gettysburg or Yorktown.

True, and we know symbolism Trumps reality with these people. And yet they hate God, cause he isn’t “real”. Yes they have their cake and eat it too.

Oh look, another boomer fleecing Americans for personal enrichment.

The only battlefield where all of the "assailants" forgot their weapons and firearms at home.

Still remember this clown’s meltdown channeling his inner Bill O’Reilly. Angry little man.

Did someone actually say that?

Just seeing this parking lot really takes me back to Helmand and Anbar in the early 2000s.
