Honestly, the biggest issue Fox and the right are doing is giving these drama queens any attention at all. Ignore them and they will fizzle away.

They have nothing to lose so they can take anyone down

What’s truly hilarious in context is from the advertiser point of view. I don’t understand companies need to bend the knee...I mean everyone calling for the boycott already hates Fox News and weren’t watching her show anyway. So...I just don’t get it?

Kind of unrelated, but I swear one of our society's biggest issues today is that 17-year-olds are more than happy to refer to themselves as "children."

There is a huge cognitive dissonance with this. On one hand he wants to be taken seriously as an expert on gun control and as a leader of a movement, but then when some calls him on his OBVIOUS inexperience and naivete he hides behind that he is a child.

Because we've made them that way.

"Child" is a subjective term.

Just the other day he actually thought he had a hair.

Then it pissed on him.

True. But it's the new normal. Kids are far less mature and independent today than they were even 20 years ago.

I wish people would stop pretending this kid says or does anything unless specifically instructed to do so by his political operative handlers.

Ive posted a hundred times on this board that the voting age should be raised to 25 and both sides fight me on it.

The right is like “But but if you can serve in the military!?!?!”

And the left is like “But but these kids deserve a say in their future!!!!”

Both of those responses are fricking ridiculous

Truth.

I don't hate the kid, I really think it's shitty for Dems to be using him though, and then claiming he's off limits.

I agree. That's why I said it was one of our society's biggest issues today.

Nature hasn't changed. Humans still go through puberty in their teens. As far as nature is concerned, a 17-year-old is an adult.

But society has delayed "intellectual puberty" (maturity, Independence, self-reliance, etc.) apparently until a person starts their first full-time job; and sometimes not even then.

"Intellectual puberty" used to happen a lot sooner.

Laura Ingraham gets schooled by the child she made fun of. Has she learned it's not a good idea or a good look for her side to lash out at children?

Schooled? David Hogg hates both the first and the second amendment (unless he's the one for example calling a US Senator a murderer) frick off with this bullshite about not picking on children either. If they are old enough to speak their opinions, they are old enough to reap the negative the feedback that comes with it.

Not as ridiculous as raising the voting age to 25. The majority of the country is finished with their education at the end of high school. Once you're off in the real world, you should be allowed to vote.

Is anyone actually endorsing that? That's as silly as telling an 18 year old "alright son, you're old enough to join the military and die in a war, but not old enough to purchase a firearm for yourself"
