Outsiders run all of Nola. And Moreno is another progressive transplant …

This 100%. Never in my life did I think NOLA would elect a transplant to the position of mayor. Desi may have not been the best person on the planet for the job, but she is a New Orleanian, and while all of them steal, locals leave enough meat on the bone to live.
LaToya destroyed the city because she isn’t from the city.
Latoya is the personification of New Orleans voters. Any jury trial and she walks. She would likely get a third term if she could.

I really think Moreno would be the final nail. The last thing New Orleans needs right now is to become some Petri dish for modern leftist whackadoodleness. That’s what Moreno will give you.
People say that New Orleans can’t get worse.
If you apply the stupidity at play in Seattle, Portland, San Fran and LA to New Orleans,
things will actually get much worse.

No chance
Well, if there are impending indictments that could be a reason. But for her, it would be the only reason.
She knows her true constituency doesn't want her to, and they make up the majority of the populace.
All this recall effort amounts to as other blacks seeing a chance for them to get in and make the city an even better cash cow for them.
If by some chance this recall effort would work - which it won't - will the schools be better, the streets safer, the crime rate come down just a little, the triple-digit water bills come down as a result of being calculated by actually reading the meters and charging by how much water is being used.
Will the plans for the removal of the remaining historical monuments no longer include the World War I Doughboys remembrance in City Park, or the golden statue of St. Joan near Cafe DuMonde.
Surprised they're even having her parade down there this year.
Will the statue of Andrew Jackson no longer be their prime target?
Didn't sign the recall, and won't. Didn't vote for her, and am not into saving people from themselves and their poor judgment.
Even were the indictments to become a reality, nothing would change.
"Happy New Year"

Those places kick New Orleans’ arse in every way. Things work in those cities
I’m not sure how you’re gonna get the city any closer to Metairie governmental wise

Demographics much?
From a citizenry standpoint, there are few similarities. You may as well compare NOLA to Tokyo. My point is that if this leftist lunacy can frick these cities up beyond recognition, despite their OBVIOUS advantages, what would those same policies do to the uneducated shithole that is Teedyland?
Here is a link exposing the leftist stupidity that you support. It is an expose by the ABC affiliate in Seattle (KOMO News), which is certainly not considered “right wing.”
It is fascinating imho.
I doubt that you will watch it, but here you go:
Seattle is dying

As for NOLA being done, a ride through UpTown N.O. during the last election, all you could see were Biden signs. And those uppitty, liberal snobs aren't moving out of their cocoons any time soon.
That's the old money of New Orleans and their descendants.
The ones who started this city on its downward spiral when they supported Dutch Morial for mayor, because they just couldn't bring themselves to vote for an Italian in the person of Joe DiRosa - an experienced politician on the Council and law professor at Loyola.
Actually heard one of them, a white female, admit to that prejudice.
But they're paying for it. They're completely surrounded.
They need constant armed patrols in their neighborhoods just like the rest of us. Their women are under constant "surveillance" and threat.
According to the Biden signs, they still haven't learned anything.

She proudly said she was “strait otta Compton” ….Well she needs to go “Strait back to Compton”
After being recalled and serving her time in an orange jumpsuit of course.
