Latoya is the personification of New Orleans voters. Any jury trial and she walks. She would likely get a third term if she could.

Well, if there are impending indictments that could be a reason. But for her, it would be the only reason.

She knows her true constituency doesn't want her to, and they make up the majority of the populace.

All this recall effort amounts to as other blacks seeing a chance for them to get in and make the city an even better cash cow for them.

If by some chance this recall effort would work - which it won't - will the schools be better, the streets safer, the crime rate come down just a little, the triple-digit water bills come down as a result of being calculated by actually reading the meters and charging by how much water is being used.

Will the plans for the removal of the remaining historical monuments no longer include the World War I Doughboys remembrance in City Park, or the golden statue of St. Joan near Cafe DuMonde.

Surprised they're even having her parade down there this year.

Will the statue of Andrew Jackson no longer be their prime target?

Didn't sign the recall, and won't. Didn't vote for her, and am not into saving people from themselves and their poor judgment.

Even were the indictments to become a reality, nothing would change.

That's the old money of New Orleans and their descendants.

The ones who started this city on its downward spiral when they supported Dutch Morial for mayor, because they just couldn't bring themselves to vote for an Italian in the person of Joe DiRosa - an experienced politician on the Council and law professor at Loyola.

Actually heard one of them, a white female, admit to that prejudice.

But they're paying for it. They're completely surrounded.

They need constant armed patrols in their neighborhoods just like the rest of us. Their women are under constant "surveillance" and threat.

According to the Biden signs, they still haven't learned anything.
