DUBAI, July 13 (Reuters) - The Houthi movement that controls northern Yemen accused Saudi Arabia on Monday of launching airstrikes against the international airport in Sanaa, and vowed to retaliate, testing a truce in the long-running conflict between the kingdom and the Iran-aligned group. Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree called the attacks "blatant aggression" and said they had ended a period of de-escalation. He said regional power Saudi Arabia would bear the consequences and that the attack would not go unanswered.

In addition to straining a ceasefire in the conflict, Monday's violence may upset broader efforts to defuse conflict in the region linked to the Iran war, given the Houthis are aligned with Tehran. Saudi Arabia has remained relatively isolated from the Iran conflict and has not faced the same degree of Iranian attacks as other Gulf states. A return to conflict between the Houthis and Saudi Arabia could change that.

They’re one of the most inept militaries in the ME
MBS had to recruit child soldiers from across the border just to keep the Houthis at bay. He’s got a 5,000 manned Royal Guard too. He’s the definition of a tyrant.
If it weren’t for our politicians being bought out by the House of Saud, the Houthis would have launched an insurrection into Saudi Arabia a long time ago

I’m thinking Houthi has over 20,000 drones and it will be expensiveto get rid of them. But, they will always be a threat and progressive presidents will indirectly fund Iran and its allies.
So what do you do?

The Houthis are so decentralized and spread out that it’s difficult to attack them without guerilla-style assaults. They have tribal factions all throughout Sanaa and Saada with tens of thousands of landmines purposely laid out throughout Northern Yemen to deter any foreign invasion.
