Oh REALLY?

THAT Kevin Clinesmith?

FBI Lawyer Who Sent Anti-Trump ‘Resistance’ Text Message Interviewed George Papadopoulos

quote:

An FBI attorney who sent anti-Trump text messages — including one calling for “resistance” against Trump — took part in at least one interview last year with George Papadopoulos, the former Trump campaign adviser who has pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI.

quote:

The lawyer, Kevin Clinesmith, was part of the FBI team that interviewed Papadopoulos on Feb. 16, 2017, a source familiar with the interview tells TheDCNF.

quote:

The OIG report said FBI Attorney 2 sent numerous text messages criticizing Trump. The attorney worked on the Clinton probe and was also the FBI’s lead attorney on the investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian government. He joined Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation early last year but left this February after the discovery of his anti-Trump texts.

Oh.
quote:

Asked in one text message after the election if he had changed his mind about Trump, Clinesmith wrote: “Hell no. Viva le resistance.”

BTW: Carter Page requested an advanced copy of the IG FISA abuse report. I heard last night he didn't get one. He would have obeyed his NDA; unlike the spooks at WaPo and CNN.

The former spook (the indian with a dot guy) on CNN said, that this altered FISA doc is a BFD. I wonder if CNN and WaPo are pushing out the small fish to cover for the big fish-for now?

They outed this guy in a preemptive strike to try and take steam out of the IG Report. The story will be low level underlings going rogue. Everything else is back to the conspiracy theory narrative.

What type of sentence would Clinesmith be looking at?

Hopefully, someone files a bar complaint against him and he gets disbarred.

Its a huge BFD. *ALL* cases that this dude touched are going to come under some form of scrutiny by defense atty's representing people who were charged by the govt. where he (Clinesmith) was a part of the govt. team handling the case.
This is going to be a big problem for his boss (Peter S.) because at some point he will say he was following a directive, he has no other choice, the prison time and civil liability-that he will 100% OWN-- will be enormous and he is an atty so he is just that much more fricked.
