Kentuckians, did Andy Beshear run as a moderate?

I don't know much about him, but he seems fairly liberal. Just wondering if the strategy was the typical one that Dems use in statewide elections in the South - hide the liberal warts and make their candidate appear to be just like one of the common folk by believing in God, guns, and America.

Well that's what we have been doing wrong.

Who knew that the governor of Kentucky was so key in border security?

...and the democrats win then import millions. That's a great strategy.

One of his ads was a Trump supporter saying that he loved Trump but didn't like Bevin.

I only watched one of his ads on YouTube and he leaned pretty hard to the left in it.

Something about him strikes me as the type to have some skeletons in his closet. I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if they come a year or so down the road. Maybe it has something to do with his running mate.

He's openly liberal. Supports a portion, sanctuary cities, etc.
