We need a better candidate that will promise to not take AIPAC money. Because as we just saw yesterday, every war goes through Israel. To me, divorce is a private matter and should be a family decision (as in tell the children but don't stay together "for the kids"). Announcing it on X is the most ridiculous thing any grown person should do. It reeks of "poor, poor, pitiful me" or hey guys, "I'm back on the market". As to his running for Senator, it would not be a favorable characteristics that would I consider but not sure it's a deal killer depending on his opponents. If Cornyn was his only opposition, I would probably go with Paxton. Seems hypocritical but I dislike John that much.

I give a shite about his political stances and his track record, not who he bones. If he indeed cheated on his wife, hope it was worth it, with how it will affect their children. But that's on him, and for him to deal with. If he votes to advance a conservative agenda, that's all that matters.
In every spending bill, Congress allocates themselves a slush fund to pay for silence when members are perverts and promiscuous, FFS. Being a politician and a horndog is literally a tale as old as time.
