It is public info but that doesn't mean he has to allow real-time doxing on a platform that is easier to spread the info.
If someone is determined they can go find the info but this just makes it harder to spread it to everyone in an effort to harass someone.
Antifa used real time doxxing to beat the shite out of Andy Ngo a few years ago. That is the sort of thing it can help prevent as well.

Again, I asked a specific question asking what the distinction was from what Libs of TikTok was doing, and what the ElonJet account was doing. Apparently, the distinction is that Elon can choose to not allow one based on preferences, not any real principle.

They didn't simply post an image. The image they posted included a URL to a new elonjet site that has been created that is real-time tracking Elon's location AKA real-time doxxing.
Again, this policy would have banned a lot of Antifa accounts during their previous riots and perhaps kept people like Andy Ngo from being nearly beaten to death.
Not sure why you are against someone's safety. I wouldn't want my real-time location easily spread far and fast on social media if I were someone that people cared to hunt down for whatever reason.
