Same. Find a figure that would allow men who a) don’t really want kids or at least don’t care, and b) are broke so would benefit from the money and can’t afford a kid anyway. From my brief online research, the cost of a reversal is about $10k. Make the amount at least over that, so they could decide to bank it for possible future reversal. They could use it to invest in their education or a business, and if they become financially secure in the future they could reverse it at their own cost. They could also bank their sperm for future planned kids if they want, so a reversal may not even be necessary. Some guys would just blow the money and stay poor, but those are the guys whose unplanned kids don’t do well anyway. It’s voluntary and a win/win for the guy and society.

Way less accidental pregnancies are a good thing. It goes further than abortion. It can mean less broken homes, or single parents. Less accidents and more planned pregnancies by families are good for society
