Kaepernick's behaviour should be a model to his fellow leftists

I am no Kaepernick fan, but if the left would learn from him and not hysterically overreact to every fricking thing at all times, they'd be much better off.
A huge reason why Trump pulled ahead in swing states during the last few weeks of the campaign was the constant barrage and overreaction / mindless repetition of "sexist, racist, homophobic, islamophobe, transphobe......" that was pounded literally 24/7 by all fronts (celebs, MSM, social media, and even the GOPe).
Take this emergency declaration by Trump - it's clearly a loser politically (31% approval according to one snap poll I saw) as we sit here on Friday afternoon 2/15/19. I predict that by 3/1/19 it will be closer to 43% approval solely as a result of the over reactionary and hysterical left.
Kaepernick has been calm, largely silent, and has spoken with actions and through back channels with attorneys. No grandstanding, no hysterical press conferences or publicity stunts. The left should wake up and realize that all their hysterics do is galvanize the Trump / GOP base.
